Stuck on Minecraft version 1.12, it won't update

I am stuck on Minecraft 1.12 because it shows no available update. In the Microsoft Store, I went to Downloads and Updates>Get updates, but a message says, "You're good to go, all your trusted apps and games from Microsoft Store have the latest updates." 

I have been looking for people having the same issue as me, but so far, it seems nobody does. I have already tried Updating Windows 10, switching from non-beta then back to beta with the insider app, re-installing the Microsoft Store, and I have restarted my PC multiple times. Heck, I even tried re-installing Minecraft using my Xbox One, but it still says I'm on version 1.12.

I bought the Minecraft Starter Pack from the Microsoft Store, and wonder if this might have something to do with it?

Anyways, could somebody get back to me on how to fix this issue? It would be much appreciated.

    We understand your concern, as you are looking for an update in Minecraft games that you are currently playing. We appreciate your effort in troubleshooting the issue and providing us the detailed information.

    Assuming that you are playing Minecraft for Windows 10 Starter, we checked this for you and found that this edition of Minecraft has the latest version 1.12. As of now there is no updated version released by the publisher of the game. 

    However, if you want then you can try the next edition, which is Minecraft for Windows 10 Master.

    It seems that this is not an issue, it's just that bedrock edition (console) is already updated as far as you can. 1.12 is the latest update for it sadly.

    I am having the same issues on xbox one. I have three xbox ones in my house and mine will not update past 1.12.0. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but with no change. Why would this be happening?
