Windows 10 1903 or 1809, which is better and stable.

I would like to update my ongoing version 1709 ( 16299.1087 ).

The latest version by Microsoft official is 1903. Is it good to update to 1903 ?

Is the 1809 somehow still available ? If it is then kindly give me any of the links, as i heard before that 1809 is stable than 1903 though I am not so sure.

Would like have a detailed information, as my present version is in the end of service.

I am going to do a clean installation.

As 1903 spent more time in testing, I believe it is as stable as 1809. However if you want to install 1809, you can find the ISO here:

The downloads are fetched from Microsoft servers so the authenticity is not an issue.

    The version numbers, first 2 are the year and the last 2 are the month.

    So 19 is 2019 and 18 is 2018.

    If you have not cleaned it out copy the Download folder to another drive or to a USB flash drive and use it to install the downloaded programs rather than wandering all over the Internet to find those programs.

    Version 1903 is much more stable than version 1809, there have been few reported issues with 1903 compared to when 1809 was released, the forums are not flooded with bugs like they were when 1809 was released

    To upgrade to 1903, click the link below, then click 'Update Now' on that page to immediately get 1903 and bring your PC right up to date

    Microsoft does not provide previous versions of Windows 10, if you do want to upgrade to 1809, you will need to download the 1809 ISO and upgrade form that offline:
