Shutdown Command in Windows 10

Hello,

Why doesn't shutdown command work in CMD? I went to CMD from WinRE.

Hi IrBlueSky

When you access Command Prompt form the WinRE, you are not actually inside Windows, so Shutdown.exe process cannot be called from inside Command Prompt . . .

When you are accessing Command Prompt from the WinRE, you should be able to just close the Command Prompt window, and then select Reboot . . .
