I uninstalled and blocked the update, but it still shows as a keyboard on my pc.
Mouse recognized as a keyboard
When I plugged in my mouse into my pc it seems to flash the leds on the mouse also it doesn't want work. When I went into the device control panel I realized my mouse was show as a keyboard not a mouse. Sometimes the mouse works fine but I can't use the Razer program for drivers, mainly doesn't work. I've looked around everywhere to find an answer but I've found nothing. My friend's mouse also does the same thing on his pc, so I don't know if it's because of windows updates or something else.

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor.
Take actions related to mouse (Check after each step A, B and C)
Windows Key+X (Or right click on Start) > Click Device Manager > View tab > Show hidden devices > Expand Mice and Other Pointing Devices > Right click on the mouse listed there >
A. Roll back - Click Properties > Roll Back - Under Drive tab, if Rollback Driver is enabled click it > Reboot
B. Uninstall - Uninstall > Reboot and the driver will be automatically installed
C. Update - Update Driver > Click Update Driver Software > Click Browse my computer for driver software > Click Let my pick from a list of device drivers on my computer > Choose the driver > Click Next to update > Reboot
If this does not work, select Search automatically for the updated driver in place of Browse my computer for driver software > Reboot
Report this to Microsoft so that this issue can be fixed in future updates. Press Windows Key+F to invoke Feedback Hub to send the issue to Microsoft.
There are two actions which I can recommend. You can try them one by one and check after each.
- Restore from a system restore point to a point when things were working fine
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12415/...
- If the issue has been caused due to recent Windows update - I would suggest that you uninstall the latest KB update and hide it so that it doesn't install it automatically and wait for new update to come which will be installed automatically.
To know which update got installed
Windows Key+i to invoke Settings > Update & Security > Click View installed update history. These KBs should be from the below list. Don't uninstall any other KB
For 1903 - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4498140
For 1809 - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4464619
For 1803 - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4099479
Make note of KB and uninstall and block it.
Uninstall
Windows Key + R > Type: appwiz.cpl > Enter > Click View installed updates > Select the required updates, right click, uninstall.
Block
Microsoft has provided a tool Show/Hide Updates tool to block the update
Download the tool from below link
http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/2/2/f2...
When you run this troubleshooter, it will search for available updates and list them
Select the update which you want to hide. Click Next and follow on-screen directions
Do let me know if you have any more question or require further help.

2019-08-14T19:20:28+00:00 The first method didn't work at all, also my latest restore point is yesterday after an update. I have no idea which update it was (I don't remember what update which it was causing it, It's been about 2-3 months this is happening.)
