Recover pages from InPrivate mode

Hi All,

I had a few pages opened in Internet Explorer in private mode. I left them open and Windows update/restart caused system restart and those links are gone.

Is there a way to recover those links? They are for a project and important. Does windows saved those somewhere?

Secondly, how to turn this auto update/restart off. This is really annoying.

Thanks

    Hi RP_WIN10

I am an independent advisor here to help

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover these pages. The point of In Private mode is that no record of kept on the PC

To have better control over when you're updates install go to the Windows update settings and set your active hours that way updates will only install outside of active hours.

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news in this situation

    Hi RP_win10

Greetings! I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. The very purpose of in private mode is not leave a trace. Hence, you can't recover it. There is no hack to counter this.

Regarding auto update, are you talking about Windows 10 auto updates?

Do let me know if you have any more question or require further help.
