Bluetooth Mouse 3600 Black is not connecting with my Mac

Hello to anyone who finds this question.

Until couple days ago, my mouse was working just fine with no serious issues.

Before, when I wasn't using it, I turned it off to save battery and when I wanted to use it again, I did have to turn it off/ on again to make it work or sometimes disconnect it and reconnect.

Now, even with changed batteries, it doesn't seem to work.

Things I tried:

  1. Press the power button for 5 seconds and wait to appear on my bluetooth list for 3 minutes
  2. Change batteries 5 times to check if my batteries were too old, trash, etc
  3. Put the mouse on top of my computer just in case it had very weak connection power for whatever reason (which I never had problems with when I was using it before)
  4. Turn the mouse on and off multiple times before giving up.

Please, anyone give anymore suggestions on how to fix this issue.

I have been using this mouse for only at least 1.5 years.

hi, my mouse had the same problem too, so I was searching through the internet to find the answer when I saw ur post.

I tried one of ur methods- pressing the power button for a few seconds, And it surprisingly worked and link to my mac successfully. For real I don't know what happens, but here are the details of my process, hope this can help u.

1.I open the system preference and found Bluetooth

2.then I started to press the power button for a few seconds ( the mouse was on ), then I saw the light blink slower.

3.Then a name appeared on the BlueTooth page, I click on it and it links successfully. But the name is (Mouse 3600), no name of Microsoft so u may somehow miss it.

4.Try it and see if it works!

I initially had the same problem connecting to my mac.

I then turned the bluetooth off, then back on again on the mac. It then immediately showed that it could see the mouse so just needed to click 'connect' and it worked straight away.

    The mouse is great.

    Hello!

I was able to connect my Microsoft 3600 Bluetooth Mouse connecting an USB mouse first. Than I opened the mouse configuration and a button "Setup Up Bluetooth Mouse..." appeared.

I clicked and mouse connected successfully.

I've tried several times using all the comments suggestion.  When I gave up and plugged my old mouse, this happened. Looks crazy, but it is how I fixed.

    Wish you all the best!!
