Few months back one random morning I started having a problem my computer with only two of the three displays and usb were connecting and disconnecting. So i went through trying to find if anyone had the problems and couldnt find anything. So i went through some standart trouble shooting. Try to see if there was any new events that happened see if anything cause it to updating had this problem didn't see anything then I started going to the hardware side went barebones won't stick around 1 CPU the motherboard plugged it all in with only the display for working still did it went to one GPU still doing it nothing on hardware side effects it takes a few buddies see if they ever had a problem one of them said that they had something similar and it was a PSU I've had problems with this PSU manufacture before and I went to a buddy that had an old computer of mine got the PSU out of it took it home tried it out no work this is probably two months and by this point.so I diagnosed it that it's probably a motherboard issue seeming that is still doing it with almost no hardware into it. So contacted motherboard manufacturer they said shipping and we'll see what we can do but in a box and forgot about all the emails and it's been about 4 months now so buddy of mine that had my old computer brought this computer to me so I can use it hooked everything up all very old hardware 3 to 4 years old nothing that I've ever had a problem with always work whenever I needed it I hooked up my old drives to it so I had all my saves and turned it on still has a problem so I backed up all my files disconnected to my storage drives and then reset Windows on my SSD after I was done resetting it started working fully 500% like it's supposed to not a single problem all three displays showing up USBS are not having a freak out it was turning out to be great well three days later which was this morning I turn on my computer after installing graphics drivers and updating graphics drivers and I went to sleep while it was updating woke up went to the computer you play some YouTube and it started doing again only two of the displays were showing up out of the three if you look into display settings it would show that they'll be a third screen connected but it will sometimes disconnect and reconnect and I'll show unavailable. USBS are freaking out reconnecting disconnecting every 5 seconds and I have no idea what's causing this I tried deleting my graphics driver putting it back to the day before nothing has helped.

    Hi Gabe

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

What is the make and model of the motherboard?

    Press Windows key + X

    Click Device Manager

Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers at the bottom

Right click each entry then click uninstall

    Exit then restart

Windows 10 will then redetect them.

    Check if they then work.

You might need to update your BIOS and chipset drivers.

Updating USB drivers normally requires updating the chipset drivers of the motherboard.

    As for the video card:

The GTX 960 does not have any native Windows 10 drivers, so I recommend you download the latest available driver then install in compatibility mode for Windows 8:

    https://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/347.88/3...

The applies to the GTX 670

    https://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/372.54/3...

See steps to install in compatibility mode:

I last time reset completely to a fresh wipe a Windows when I was able to get the issue to stop I use GPU so should not be the display adapter but I will try to upgrade the USB drivers on the motherboard but the problem is I have the USB issues on the motherboard and I also have the display issues on a external graphics card

    Reset or Restart Windows?

Please note, your USB and display adapter are installed on the motherboard, so, they might need updates especially for newer versions of Windows 10.

the motherboard is not the issue the only time I get the issues once I use Windows for a while whenever I reset Windows I had no issue
