Hello,

I have had my PC for 3 days now and every time I boot my pc the sound changes from 5.1 surround to stereo, it really annoys me because stereo sounds tinny with my headphones. It would be nice if someone tells me how to fix it :) Thanks in advance.

    Actually, 5.1 is surround sound.

    I have 5.1 surround sound

First, Do you have 5.1 or just dual speakers.

Are your speakers 1/8" jack or USB ?

Are your headphones 1/8" jack or USB ?

Instead of selecting Configure in the photo you display here, did you select properties instead & select the "Enhancements Tab"

Then make sure the enhancements are OFF.

Or at least some of them that will alter sounds that are annoying.

    Always APPLY changes you make.

Let me know & I will try & help you further
