TV Screen is pixelated and the text is hard to read

I have plugged my laptop up to a Bush TV and the text is pixelated. I tried changing the display settings but to no avail.

Is there any help you can provide me on this topic or will I need to consult my TV manufacturer about this issue?

    Hi,

Try the following, it worked for another user with a problem similar to yours, hopefully, they work for you too

1.- Control Panel >> System >> Advanced System Settings >> System Properties >> Tab: System Options >> Performance >> Settings >> Tab: Visual Effects >> Select: Smooth Edges of Screen Fonts, then >> Apply + Ok, restart your computer

If step 1 did not work, also select this option:

2.- Control Panel >> System >> Advanced System Settings >> System Properties >> Tab: System Options >> Performance >> Settings >> Tab: Visual Effects >> Select: Smooth scrolling of list boxes, then >> Apply + Ok, restart your computer

    Regards

    Hi SEWIGER,

I'm Charles, an Independent advisor trying to help.

Try to configure the screen resolution by following these steps:

Windows key + I >> Settings >> System >> Display >> Display resolution, try the different options shown, take as the first option (Recommended), if it does not normalize, try the following options.

I hope the steps work for you too

    Attentive to any comments

    Have a happy day

    Best Regards,

    Charles.

    Hi Charles,

I followed the steps described in your reply but it didn't make much of a difference. In fact, it made it much worse.

However, when I followed the link and changed the size of fonts it looked much better, however I would like to take advantage of the fact that the laptop I have plugged into my TV has 1920 by 1080 resolution capable hardware.

I cannot really use a Windows 10 with enlarged fonts as I cannot see much since most things are overshadowed by the massive font and window sizes.

    Best wishes,

    SEWIGER
