Bluetooth equalizer

Hi all,

On my laptop, when I use its built-in speakers or cable headphones, I can see the equalizer in the Enhancements tab in the audio properties.

But when I switch to Bluetooth for audio, that option is not there. I would love to equalise or improve the sound coming via bluetooth. Is there a way to do it besides that?

I use Windows 10 and a Fiio bluetooth receiver.

Many thanks in advance.

Diego

    Hi Diego,

    Upon checking my resources,

If you cannot find your device under Digital Tab on your Realtek Options.

You may download a third-party application to control it instead.

    Hi Diego,

That's cool, Please message me back for the results.

    I'll be waiting.

    You have a good day!

    Thanks.

I wasn't able to find an option for digital output with the Realtek card.

But I downloaded APO, and to make it easier for me found this interface for it that adds some settings:

    https://gaminggem.com/best-equalizer-settings-gaming/

(go down to step 2 on that page).

So far it works with some of the more common presets like Rock, Dance, etc., although the results are a bit faint. Seems it must be something with that Fiio device to me, as when I use Realteks equalizer with regular headphones with cable the difference is pretty notable.

I will keep trying to find a setting. But you gave me a great point to start from with the APO app, thank you!

    Diego

Thank you Richard, will try that equalizer.

The Digital tab doesn't seem to show up when I pair the computer with the Fiio, but will also give it a try later today to see if I can find it somehow.

    Many thanks!

    Diego
