Dear Team,

I have one question about the DNS forwarder port. In my situation, all port from my DNS server is blocked and client not able to communicate with the internet.
After my troubleshoot, I found DNS forwarder is configured and can't resolve the public DNS server. Then I checked with the security team and confirmed they blocked all the ports.
Now the question is which PORT should I open to the internet from my DNS server to communicate with the PUBLIC DNS Server.

I know 53 is DNS port used to communicate, but i just need to confirm with the expert whether i require to open any other ports.

Thanks and Regards,
Sha

You'll find port requirements listed here.
