Win Zip pop ups appear every time I access my computer, that is, a lot! We have a great security system. Is Win Zip part of Microsoft? How can I stop it from coming up all the time - please!

Every time I turn on my computer, Win Zip pop ups asking me to scan, to download updates etc.  We have an excellent security system and don't need win zip.  Is it a Microsoft product?  How can I stop it from popping up ALL THE TIME!
