Mixer (Windows 10 game bar): Broadcasting isn't working. Something went wrong. Try broadcasting again later.

Hello,

I am using a Windows 10 PC and the native Xbox Game Bar to broadcast via Mixer. I was streaming on Tuesday (3 days ago), no problem. Today, when I try to enable broadcast via the Game Bar, the Mixer configure shows up for about 2 seconds, then closes and I get the error message "Broadcasting isn't working. Something went wrong. Try broadcasting again later."

Unfortunately, that error doesn't tell me if it's an issue on my end or Mixer's end.

Background apps ARE on so that's not the problem. I've rebooted multiple times, tried repairing and then resetting (and reinstalling) the Xbox Game Bar, nothing has fixed this.

The only change I made within the 3 day timeframe was an ipconfig /flushdns.

Does anyone know what the issue might be?

    go to mixer.com -> broadcast dashboard -> broadcast

                      * watch the video (required)

                       request the key

    The error message is bad.. Have it start the mixer sign in process or the rules video automatically.. Something to not be so disconnected. .

                       I know this is new for mixer as of Sept 2019 but this should have been a coordinated effort so peoples experience with the platform was smooth

    I've been having the same issue.  It looks like you have to request a stream key to broadcast from PC and it requires reviewing by Microsoft for a period of 24 hours.  What the heck.  I have been trying to figure out what the deal was for hours.  Why not simply state the problem instead of saying there is an error and to try back later and making us figure it out ourselves.

    My specific issue ended up being with Mixer. I had to renew my stream key. Otherwise, no technical problems.

    I'm having the same issue as the original poster. It worked perfectly fine and then suddenly I'm getting the exact same error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Xbox game bar, yet I'm still getting the same error. I've requested a new key from Mixer, to see if that fixes it, but I have to wait 24hrs. If that doesn't work, I don't know what else to do. I've tried all the other solutions.

    I changed passwords, un-linked, and linked accounts back. Re-format my pc. Then found this on google... SMH. They definitely need a different message other than;

    Broadcasting isn't working. Something went wrong. Try broadcasting again later.

    Also, seems to not let you link Mixer to Radeon ReLive unless you request a stream key.
