Dear Microsoft,

I would like to let you know that there was a problem with the windows 10 1903 update on my PC.

For some reason the nvidia control panel was missing.

So I decided to try to install nvidia control panel on windows 10 store but it came up with almost no results to what I'm looking for.

In found this a bit frustrating since I searched up on how to install windows nvidia and it read to install nvidia control panel on the store!

I hope you can please help me fix this problem ASAP.

Yours Faithfully,

Eric

Yes, for some reason the driver for newer machines that use the new DCH 'universal' driver system does not come with Control Panel,

only the 'Experience', so you need to download Control Panel separately when using DCH drivers.

The standard WHQL driver is not compatible with these machines, unfortunately. From the Nvidia download page....

"DCH drivers cannot be installed over a standard system, and Standard drivers cannot be installed over a DCH system."

Nvidia wanted to ditch Control Panel when they first released the Experience some years ago, but the backlash

made them think better of the idea.

    Hi

I am an independent advisor here to help

This is the Microsoft Store version

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/nvidia-contro...

You also may be able to get a version of it from your PC manufacturers website

Only some systems have the "new" style of drivers with the Control Panel from the Store.

What you want is this driver. This is the latest Nvidia driver package (version 436.15) as of this post.

if it doesn't work, please post the exact error message you get.

Sorry but for some reason it came up with the nvidia installer could not continue and I couldn't copy the whole thing so here it is shortened.

For some reason It read I needed a DCH package so I tried to search for a DCH package from the same website but it came up with the same result.

    Please help me ASAP

    Yours Faithfully,

    Eric
