Touch keyboard colour change

Is there any way of changing just the touch keyboard back to the lovely grey colour.  I have followed threads on this matter and tried the suggestion from the technical advisor, but this seems to change all apps black.  I can't find a way of changing just the keyboard.  Please, please, please resolve this issue as a white keyboard on a white background is much for difficult to use and it's incredibly bright.

Many thanks

    Hi TonkaR1.

    i am sorry, i have been informed that my suggestion wont work.

    "There is no way to change the color of the touch keyboard, the white keyboard is a bug in version 1903"

    hopefully Microsoft will fix it quickly.

    Hi TonkaR1

    this is part of the new windows light mode, you can choose dark mode for windows and light mode for apps, this will make the keyboard, taskbar, start, action centre dark and leave the apps light, you can then choose an accent colour to show on start, taskbar etc.

    settings -> personalisation -> colours

    under "choose your default windows mode"

    select Dark

    under "choose your default app mode"

    select light

    if you want your taskbar etc to be a different colour

    choose an accent colour then tick the box to show the accent colour on start, taskbar and action centre

    it seems to be ok in the insider previews but i don't expect that to be release for a couple of months.

    Thanks for responding.  I'm hoping Microsoft fix it!  They usually fix things that are particularly unpopular.  I'll look forward to the next upgrade!
