windows 10 calendar keeps crashing

I have had the problem with the calendar crashing for the past 2-3 months.  It happens when:

  1. I try to move a calendar event from one slot to another either the same day or different day it does not matter-this started first.
  2. most recently if I open an event and try to change time or date because I have to do this now since number 1 is crashing it, but now this crashes it-but when i open the calendar up again, it opens at that event and allows me to change it

Any suggestions?  I have already uninstalled and reinstalled twice; I have checked for updates which have not corrected the problem, if my memory is correct number 2 started happening after an update

    Hi TracyBooth,

I'm Charles, an Independent advisor trying to help.

If you have the latest updates on your computer, check if these steps solve the problem as an initial step:

1.- Windows + I >> Configuration >> Applications >> Applications and features, now look in the list for the option >> Mail and calendar (Click on the option) >> Advanced options >> Reset, finally restart your computer and add account again

I hope the steps works for you too

    Attentive to any comments

    Have a happy day

    Best Regards,

    Charles.

I've also had this same problem. I have my personal google calendar and also my work exchange calendar accounts. Whenever I click on certain Exchange calendar events, it crashes. Never happens with google account events. After it crashes, if I try to open the app, it immediately crashes again.

This happens on both my work and home PC. I've tried resetting the app but it hasn't helped. Does anyone know what I can do? I almost feel like it's a problem with my Exchange account since this happens on no matter what computer I try.

What OS build are you on?  Hit the Windows key, type winver, hit Enter.

    Or Windows key+r, winver, OK
