When I try to login to my account on Microsoft store it says "lets get you signed in" and has a continue button, after pressing it it does nothing except closing the window. This happened after recently resetting my pc.

Hello subtenous, my name is Emily, I haven't earned any titles here, but I can try to offer my aid regardless.

Firstly, are you signed into Windows with a Microsoft Account, if you are, this in itself should sign you into the Microsoft Store, and you should be able to close that window safely, and be signed in anyway.

If you're not signed into Windows with a Microsoft Account, this may be worth doing. To do this, go to Settings, Accounts, and click 'Sign in with a Microsoft Account instead', doing this should sign you in to all Microsoft applications, including the Store.

If none of the above methods work, reply to this message, and I'll try to help with other methods.

Feel free to contact me with any queries

    -Emily Lowe

    Hi subtenous,

I'm Charles, an Independent advisor trying to help.

Follow the steps below to run the troubleshooter in the Microsoft Store:

Windows + I >> Settings >> Update and security >> Troubleshoot >> Windows Store applications (Click on the option) >> Run troubleshooter, wait for it to finish, if you wish you can restart your computer and try again .

Try to try different browsers, and the current browser can delete cookies. You can see the section, taking the example Edge browser >> How to clear data collected or stored by Microsoft Edge, from this community link

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/446824...

I hope the steps work for you too

    Attentive to any comments

    Have a happy day

    Best Regards,

    Charles.
