Hi Romain
In Windows 10, Microsoft for some unknown reason removed the Homegroup functionality, making it harder to share files between PC's running Windows 10
Here is Microsoft's instructions on how to share files between PC's in Windows 10:
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I want to connect my pc and my laptop thru wifi, both on windows10. I tried with file sharing, but neither of my computers appears on the network folder.

Host computer
192.168.0.1
255.255.255.0
192.168.0.2
Receiving computer or Client
192.168.0.2
255.255.255.0
192.168.0.1
close and restart your computers
then you need to set up your folders and files sharing permissions.
Follow this by configuring Networking and Sharing center.
you may need to turn off password feature and firewall to get the connection first then play around with how you want the computers to talk to each other.
example do you want to use log in and password feature or simple connection without login only recommend if your not using the internet.
Hi! romainclark
Your firewall may turn "ON" and stop you talk bewteen your PC and laptop.
(1) the easy way, just turn "off"or "Disable" All the firewall. Try both of the below link:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402854...
https://www.faqforge.com/windows/windows-10/tur...
(2) After you successful to talk each other and share the files, you may change the firewall setting with rules to harden back the security. But it may do it later on. Just make it work first.
If you turn off all the firewall and you still cannot see each other, Your Wi-Fi router may isolated the "talk". Please let me know in that case and we see what to do next.
