    Hi Gauarv021,

I'm Roshan V S, Windows expert and a Windows user like you.

I appreciate you for providing details about the issue and we are happy to help you.

After reading your query I recognize your question as "Reset this PC Without Keeping the files ".

If that is the case follow the steps:

    1. Click the "Start" button.
    2. Click "Settings".
    3. Click "Update & security".
    4. Click "Recovery" then select "Reset this PC"
    5. Click "Get started".
    6. Click "Remove Everything". Because you want to remove all your personal files.
    7. Click "Next".
    8. In this screen, you will need to confirm that you understand you will need to reinstall their apps after the reset.
    9. Click "Next".
    10. Click "Reset".

This is the last screen in the sequence before reset begins.

If the "Reset" function doesn't work in the operating system. You can try the "WINRE (Windows Recovery Environment)" mode.

    Please refer to the steps.

    1. Click "Recovery" then select "Advanced startup".
    2. Click "Restart now", the operating system will reboot and into "WINRE (Windows Recovery Environment)" mode.
    3. Select“Troubleshoot".
    4. Select“Reset this PC".

Note: Before Reset your PC some files are unable to delete because of the registry file issues, so try to clean your PC using some registry cleaner tools.

Do get back to us with the result. We will be glad to help if you need further assistance.

    Best Regards

    Hi Gauarv021,

In that case some of the registry files in your PC needs to be cleaned maybe they are blocking the uninstalltion of the software Then you need to clean your PC using a registry cleaner tool. e.g: Ccleaner.

Note: Make sure it is not, any of the malwares blocking the uninstallation process. If that is the case run a full scan on windows defender or use malwarebytes.

I hope this helps you. If you have any further queries, feel free to contact us.

Firstly why you want to do this?

Some files are related to programs and deleting them would make them unable to work and it would be better to uninstall programs which you don't want.
