WiFi disconnects every 10 to 15 minutes - Please help! : (

Hello community,

for a few weeks now my computer can't uphold its WiFi connection for more than a few minutes - which is really annoying! I've already noticed that it's an issue of the computer itself because it doesn't really matter what WiFi is's connected to. Until now I tried solving this on my own but after a few issues with Windows 10 (I needed to completely reset my PC until those matters could be solved!) my patience concerning computer problems is wearing a tad thin these days. So I checked the drivers (which are up to date) and several guides and already asked questions - but I couldn't find a suitable solution.

Please tell me I won't have to reset Windows again and that this is a problem with an easy solution, okay?  ^___^'

Best regards,

    If it is a laptop;

    Go Device Manager, Network adapters, click on adapter, click on Power Management, clear the check mark before "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

    I don't have much in the way of a solution, I have had issues for months with WiFi disconnecting, or not even detecting any signals or I see a list of stations near me but can't see my own. Sometimes the 5Ghz stations disappear, sometimes its the 2.4 Ghz stations. I've replaced the wifi cards, I have changed brands, I have re installed Windows and the wifi cards. Nothing seems to permanently  fix the issues. Ironically none of my other devices ever have a issue not my iPhones, iPads or gaming console or streaming device. If I use a USB boot of Linux the same wifi card issues don't happen. I have concluded its Windows that's the problem. My solution was to buy PC's running anything but Windows.

    Ciaol3ucht3,

    Follow the following steps in order:

    1-Settings> Update and Security> Troubleshooting> Internet Connections> Run the troubleshooting tool. Then follow the instructions.

    2-Settings> Update and security> Troubleshooting> Find and solve other problems> network card> Run the troubleshooting tool. Select the network card you are using or all> Next.

    3-Settings> Network and Internet> Status. Click on Network Reset on the side and follow the instructions.

    Well... this is actually kind of startling and I'm not sure where you want to go with this but... yeah, I do have a router and don't use a mobile hotspot (or whatever these are called).

    Still, I don't get how this will help since I was already saying that my problem comes from my own laptop and is totally unrelated to other WiFi networks or routers. It does this with just every WiFi connection, unfortunately.  T____T

    So... anyone here with a solution or do you want me to continue browsing the internet hoping to get a lucky shot?  : S

    Thanks guys!  ^____^'
