Delay on Synaptic Touchpad

I can't type and use the touchpad at the same time.

I've looked for a lot of tutorials and questions but any of them worked. I don't have any "PalmKm" on regedit nor "PalmChecker"

"AAPThreshold" and "PalmDetectConfig" are 0 and the sensitivity is set to "most sensitive"

Also created a ".reg" with the code:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Synaptics \ SynTP \ Install]

"DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade" = dword: 00000000

The "Synaptics Pointing Device" is 19.5.10.141 (17/05/2019)

...and, of course, i've restart the pc

What can I do to have no delay?

Found the Solution!

1. Win + R

2. regedit

3. Computador\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Defaults

4. Find SimultaneousTimeThreshold

5. Change its value to 0

Went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control but there is no Synaptic folder, I even used the "locate" tool but didn't found anything

Decided to go to Computador\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Synaptics\SynTP\Defaults and found SimultaneousTimeThreshold and change from 8c to 0. Will restart and update if it worked

I was searching on the Lenovo forums and found this fix:

Open regedit.exe as admin, navigate to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Elantech\SmartPad

    Find the key named:

    DisableWhenType_Enable

Double click and change the value to 0, close out and restart. Your touchpad is active while typing!

I bet if you naviagate to the synaptics folder under the control subnode, there is a similar setting.

    Hi José,

What type of laptop do you have? The manufacturer and model type? I want to look into this for you. I believe you have done most of the troubleshooting; but, there may be another way.
