Google Chrome Opening a MSN page on Starting My Computer

Hi all,

Since yesterday whenever I turn on my PC Google Chrome (which is my default brower) automatically opens a MSN web page.

This is very annoying as I don't always want chrome to open, and I do not want to see the MSN website.

Does anyone know how to stop this happening?

I don't think its a virus as I've scanned to check.

Thank you,

Hi ChazzaHazza, my name is Hadrien, an independent advisor and I'll do my best to help you today.

Right-click on your taskbar and click "Task Manager". At the top of the Task Manager click on the "Start-up" tab. Can you find "Google Chrome" in the list ? If yes right-click on it and click "Disable".

For the MSN page issue check this guide to change your startup page and homepage : https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95314?...

Restart your computer and check if it helps !

    Regards,

    Hadrien

    Hi,

We recommend to uninstall and reinstall your google chrome to isolate the issue, that will replace any missing or damaged files.

Keep us updated with the results.
