    Hi PattyEarls

this might sound a stupid question but does it have a cd/dvd drive?

what is the make and model of the computer, i will check the specs for you.

in the meantime open file explorer

on the left click on This PC

if you can see the cd/dvd drive listed on the right, right click on it and select eject

also, right click on start and select device manager

    can you see dvd/cd-rom drives

Computers no longer come with CD/DVD drives and really haven't for a good while now, likely for the same reason they don't come with 3.5 inch floppy drives, it is old technology.

You will need to purchase a USB external CD/DVD drive to be able to use CDs

Did your computer come with an owner's manual, or can you find the owner's manual on the manufacturer's website?

Are you sure you have a CD/DVD disk drive for the computer? I have two new Laptops coming soon and they don't have the drive where my old Laptop that I currently use does.

What brand and model of computer do you own?
