Hi there,
My facial recognition sign in suddenly stopped working. Following several help blogs I uninstalled the facial recognition driver in 'biometric devices' in the device manager (see photo). When right clicking/taking action 'scan for hardware changes' it however now no longer INSTALLS. It is also no longer visible in my sign in settings.
How can I re install this facial recognition driver?
Thanks

Thank you for your help. I re installed all drivers via the Windows 10 download and now have the facial recognition in my drivers device manager overview again. It is also available as a setting option. However, at sign in it still doesn't work. Any idea what would fix it?
Hi there!
Windows 10, laptop HP zbook studio g5 x360.
I have tried restarting my PC a few times... It doesn't seem to install the driver again.
It used to work, until I added security questions for passwords in HP Security. It however asked these questions in Hello WIndows when signing in as well, this is what I wanted to remove. After removing this, sign in switched back to just a password but did not activate the facial recognition again...
Thanks
You can perform a repair upgrade to fix issues like this. After the upgrade your Windows Hello facial recognition driver is installed . Download and run the media creation tool to perform the repair upgrade.
