I'm running into a situation where Turbo Tax 2019 is loading (I get the opening screen) but then exists. I've checked the Services and I can see the process start and quickly disappear. This error shows up in the event logs:

The last time I ran the program (installed and several updates), it was before the KB4524570 2019-11 Cumulative Update followed with the Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909.

I've gone through the canned Intuit response of running it in compatibility mode with no success. I'd like to pursue options before going the route of uninstalling the recent Updates...

Looks like running a repair on Turbo Tax has resolved the issue...

    Hello,

If Turbo Tax 2019 doesn't works on your Windows 10, try to repair its installation.

If that doesn't works, try to uninstall the program itself and re-install it. However, when you re-install it right click the executable file and click Troubleshoot Compatibility > then choose the option Troubleshoot program and click the option "The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now"

This should fix up the issue.

    Hope this helps!

None of them. Ended up going to a CPA for the first time in 8 years. Kept waiting for turbo tax to update the program but it never did

I spent over 4 hours on the phone with Turbotax without a resolution. I downloaded it online versus trying to install via a CDROM with the same problem. I followed every step others listed in terms of updating, turning of antivirus/pop up blockers, etc. without success. I ended up using a CPA. Sorry this isn’t more help but maybe I can at least save you some time.

I have the latest updates for windows and spent 3 hrs. on the phone last night with TurboTax who still couldn't solve the problem of not being able to download (after they stated at the beginning of the call that the problem was fixed). I tried turning off firewalls, running in compatibility mode with a windows 7 and/or 8 version, running as administrator, and downloading from TurboTax website without success.
