The last (3) tines I tried to download a movie I couldn't. It would walk me through the download process, CHARGE ME but when it came time to DL the movie it wasn't an option and I had to spend time, endless it seemed to get a refund. Can you still DL from the MS Store onto a Windows 10 device?

    Hi, John

    My name is Jeffrey and I am an Independent Advisor. I would be happy to help you today.

    Follow these steps to repair the Microsoft Store and Apps:

    1. launch powershell
    2. Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted

    You have to select (Yes to All)

    1. Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    Restart your system

    Check the link to better understand how to execute the commands:

    You'll need to use the Microsoft Movies & TV app on your Windows 10 device to download/stream/watch your Microsoft Store video purchases.  Once you open the app, sign in with the same account you used to purchase the videos, give the app a couple minutes to load your history and then your purchases will appear under the Purchased tab.

    To download the movies, select the movie and press the download button.

    After selecting buy or rent you should see this in the Microsoft Store, is this what you're seeing?

    Then when you open the Movies & TV app you should see this, which gives you the option to download.  In the rental process did you select download or stream?

    Thank you very much but that sounds like it's way out of my comfort zone. Is it possible to just delete or uninstall it and then reinstall it? Would that fix it and would I get the "Movies & TV" app from the Microsoft Store?   j
