Looks like I'll be saying "No Thanks" every time it refreshes. That's Microsoft for ya.
How do I stop "Get the Microsoft News App" from my homepage?
Need to know how to stop the "Get the Microsoft News App on iSO and Android" from my MSN homepage? I don't have any of these devices. It gets really annoying ever time I refresh the page.

2019-12-14T09:37:24+00:00 Well now I have a new problem. When I do refresh the page and click on the "No Thanks" it locks up and freezes the screen and have to wait 10 to 15 seconds before I get control again. God it is frustrating. Thanks Microsoft for for your unneeded <removed>
- MSN may be one of those pages that works better with any browser other than the old, outdated Internet Explorer.
- Clear the cache of whatever browser you're using.

If you aren't blocking or deleting cookies, you will usually (not always) see a prompt like this only once per day (or per session after a restart.)
It's not just Microsoft. Google tells me, usually once per day, that I should try Chrome.

You cannot block this. Click on "No thanks" or similar and move on.
