Bitlocker Recovery Key Doesn't Work

My Recovery Key doesn't work. How do I get another one, please?

When I press Esc on the screen asking for the Bitlocker password, it then displays a Recovery Key ID of 32 characters (not including the dashes "-").

On another device, in my Microsoft account, I find the first 8 characters of the Recovery Key ID displayed on the locked PC. This Key ID is followed by a 48 character Recovery Key (again, not including dashes). When I type the 48 characters into the locked pc, it says "Incorrect ID."

Any help at all, please? Thanks.

Hi Lance,

After several attempts of recovering your key and it doesn't work.

What I can suggest is to do a clean install on your Windows 10.

This would be the last resort.
