Every time I open my pictures in my folder I get the error: package failed updates, dependency or conflict validations like the picture above. What should I do? How can I resolve it? Thank you in advance.

Alright; through settings I went to Apps and found Photosin the list. As this is a Windows component, it has Advanced Options with a Reset button. Since I set as default for images another app, I'm not sure if this was the trick, but...the issue is fixed.

So, something to try is, check which app is the one making trouble, and reset it or, if possible, reinstall it.

I have the exact issue when trying to open any type of image.  When testing with Open with..., the only app with the issue is Photos.

    I have Win 10.

    NEW FINDING:

When trying to open an image attachment in an e-mail from Outlook, nothing happened. I then copied the file to a folder outside the e-mail and when tried to open, the same error came up!

Is it an issue with Outlook, Office, Photos, or Windows?
