Hi
I installed AD and exchange server 2013sp1 on a separate machine for testing purpose.
But when i run setup.exe after extraction i am getting the following error. I restarted the AD and exchange server many times but still not fixed. Any idea. how to fix it.
i install it with the fowling prerequisite software which shown in screenshot.

From mbx1 error of reboot is vanished it self after updates.
But on mbx reboot error and pendingfilenamepermission exist.after make value zero of filepermission it will reslove the first error? i have made on mbx1 any changes yet
Actullay reboot error is vanished but i am facing other issues as liste while installing Exacnge server.
I have a domain abc.com and 2DC and 2vms for exchange server MBX AND MBX1 which mean i am installing exchange server on separate machines.but i get errors as listed below in screenshot.
You have to open active directory users and computers on your domain controller and assign the listed group memberships to the account being used to perform the installations.

As you can in a pic i am using administrator user account and being part of groups of enterprise admins and schema admins than why asking for these groups ?
Moreover i have to create additional organization management group and add administrator to it?

As the error message tells, you must add this user that currently logging in to MXB to Organization Management group. In your picture, click Add,,,, and enter "organization" and click finish, then it's successfully added.
The Organization Management group is a built-in group created by Exchange server. It has a full control permission of your Exchange and as a metter of fact, you should be a memeber of it to install/upgrade Exchange servers.
After installation, you could remove this permission.

Dear !
Inside mbx when i click on AD User and computer i am unable to get anythings showing the below empty tab.
Neither i found any such group on my AD Ds MACHINE.
What i have to do now.

This server, has it joined the domain? Can you see this server in your DC's Active Directory User and Computer?
Actually I'm not sure why this happens but I believe this is something from the AD part.

Yes server has already joined the domain.Yes in my user AND COMPUTER 2 machines exsits in my computer mbx and mbx1.
i should must run the the following command after mount the exchange server iso to AD?
I SAW a video which hes running these these two commands on AD before going to install exchange server? i did not ran these comand from begin
setup /PrepareSchema /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms

As you have install Exchange server on MBX1, is it in the same domain with MBX? If so, then you don't have to prepare for the prerequisites. Or if you want to install a newer version than MBX1 does then you may do these.

Oh, if your first Exchange server was installed using SetupWizard like https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/plan-and-deploy/deploy-new-installations/install-mailbox-role?view=exchserver-2019
Then you don't have to prepare Schema, AD and ADdomain.
So a summary would be:
Situations that need to prepare these: First installation with unattended mode and Installing new updates with unattended mode.
Do not need to prepare these: Install and update with SetupWizard, install the second server that doesn't have a Schema/AD/ADdomain change.

The issue was on DNS ips. I gave other ip to mbx instead of AD
