How do I play PS3 on a pc monitor

Hi Microsoft. I just got a ps3 and I'm trying to play with it on my pc monitor. I connected both ends of the HDMI but nothing happened. I tried everything youtube told me but nothing happened. How do I play my ps3 on my pc?

    Hi Abdallah. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator here to help you.

    If it's the monitor only then that could work, but most PC's only have HDMI out so unless your PC has both Output and Input HDMI then it will not work.
