How can I uninstall Matlab R2019a when getting the message 'Exception calling main'?

I downloaded Matlab R2019a to a USB stick as I didn't have room on my laptop. It won't run, giving the message 'Exception calling main' and when I try to uninstall I get the same message. How do I resolve this issue? I would like to either fix it so that it will run on my laptop or uninstall and start again.

    Hi Eamon

    If you installed that to a USB stick, then simply deleting the parent folder of that app should remove it form your system

    If you still have difficulty, the free version of Revo Uninstaller is very good are removing stubborn applications that Windows cannot uninstall . .

    If your Matlab license has a Login Named User, you can install MATLAB on a flash drive and run it on any computer that can connect to the internet. Otherwise, Matlab needs to be installed on the C: drive.
