Too answer your question I have no backups. Sorry for late reply. There was an error?
I cannot find my folder. Please help.
Hi, I can't find my file that was on my desktop. I try too open excel and see the documents that were in it but when I click on it says an error message asking if I deleted them or moved them. I can't remember if I did or not so I am hoping someone knows how to find these files if I deleted them or moved them.

The only other thing that could have happened is the name changed. Is it possible you chose Save and then modified the file name?
Files are normally not restored by System Restore but it is possible so I'd also try to System Restore to a point before the problem began following this guide: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-system-r...

2020-01-18T22:27:47+00:00 Did which? I gave a bunch of steps, not just one. Please don't skip any steps. We often find out later that the fix was the skipped step. If you need help performing any step I will help.
If it's not in the Recycle Bin then it has to be on the PC. The Recycle Bin doesn't empty itself. Use the search methods I gave. I couldn't have been more thorough for how to search the file out.

2020-01-18T22:10:12+00:00 Hi Jesus. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator here to help you.
Did you look in the Recycle Bin on desktop to restore it if necessary?
Do a search in the task bar Search box for the title or a keyword in the title. If it finds it, right click result to Show File Location.
You can also do a search in File Explorer after clicking on This PC or C drive.
