"Make this my main display" is grey in Windows 10

When I set up my new computer which has Windows 10 I set up 2 displays. This was my first time using 2 displays.

There is a check box in Settings under Display which says "Make This My Main Display". I accidentally clicked this when I was on the wrong display. Now the check box is grey and will not let me change it to the correct display and I am having to use the wrong display as the main one.

Do you know any way to get Windows 10 to let me change this?

    Thanks for the reply Greg.

That solved my problem as such. I knew that I could switch the display 1 and 2 positions in the Display area but did not know about clicking an individual display number to change it to the main display.

One thing that is curious is that no matter which way I have them positioned in settings (display 1 on left or display 2 on left) whenever I click "Identify", the number 2 always shows up on the left display and number 1 on the right display. It doesn't matter which way I have them positioned in Display Settings or which is set a Main Display.

It doesn't really matter I guess...things appear to be working the way they should. I just find it curious.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Hi again, brother -

The way its supposed to work is when you are in one monitor and click on Identify, it should show you a number in the corner of which monitor that one is in the order. If it doesn't work that way then it's displaying it incorrectly.

Let me know if there's anything else.
