lost all my people contacts. how do i restore?
Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me. I stupid deleted all my contacts from my phone book not knowing it was directly from my google account. Within an hour all my contacts vanished from my other mobile. Then I clicked that they were all synced with my google account. How can I undo the delete so that all my contacts are back on my mobile again?
Any help is appreciated

2016-02-28T14:48:27+00:00 Restore deleted contacts
Your Outlook.com contacts are shared across OneDrive, Skype, and other Microsoft products and services. If you’ve accidently deleted or lost contacts in your Outlook.com contact list, you can restore them. Here's how:
To restore deleted contacts
- Go to the Sign in page and enter your email address and password. If you’re already signed in, you'll go directly to the People page.
- In the menu bar, click Manage, then click Restore deleted contacts.
- Click Restore next to each contact that you want to restore, or click Restore all if you want all your deleted contacts to be restored.
If you've removed Facebook as one of your connected accounts, you will not be able to add those contacts back. For more information, please go to Facebook Connect is no longer available
Note
- You can't restore contacts deleted more than 30 days ago.

In case that does not give you all of your contacts from Google back then take a look at this.
For Google Contacts:
Restore contacts
You can restore your contact list to the state it was in at any point within the past 30 days. This is helpful if you want to do any of the following:
- Recover deleted contacts
- Restore contacts after an unsuccessful sync
- Undo a recent import
- Undo a recent merge
Restore your contacts to a previous version
- Open Gmail.
- Click Gmail in the top left, then choose Contacts.
3. Click More above your contacts list.
4. Click Restore contacts.... 5. Choose the time you'd like to revert your contacts list to (e.g. 10 minutes ago, one hour ago, one week ago, etc). - Tip: Make a note of the time that you restore your contacts, in case you'd like to return to where you started. 6. Click Restore. You'll see a notification at the top of the screen when the restoration is done.
Undo a restoration
- Right after you restore your contacts, you can immediately undo by clicking Undoin the yellow notification bar at the top of the screen.
- If the notification bar is no longer there, you can always restore your contacts to the time just before you started the initial restore process.
The 24 hour rule for Chat contacts
When you delete a contact in Contacts, it will also get deleted from your Chat list. After the contact is deleted, Chat still remembers the invitation status for that contact for another 24 hours. So if you restore a deleted contact within 24 hours, it will be fully restored in Chat. But if you restore a deleted contact after 24 hours, you'll need to re-invite that person to your Chat list.
