Change location of game bar captures?

I've tried to change the capture folder location because it is on my C: drive which has very limited space. However, when I move the folder, Windows just sets it to a different folder on the C: drive. My C: drive has a total of 120GB when it's empty, I'm trying to move the captures folder to a hard drive with 8TB which is plenty of space for captures. Windows just seems to not want me to move it anywhere besides the C: drive which has very limited space.

    Hi Dogrules23

    you have done exactly what we are told you need to do, ie "in file explorer move the captures folder to the new location"

    https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/g...

    i found that if i changed the place that new videos are saved, it also changes the location of the captures folder (or you can then move it to the new videos folder)

    settings -> system -> storage

    click on the "change where new content is saved"

    change new photos and videos to your 8TB drive

    see if captures that go to the correct drive, if not, move the captures folder to D:\yourusername\Videos\Captures
