Wondershare malware

I downloaded a Wondershare app and then uninstalled it. But now a window keeps popping up from my taskbar suggesting I reinstall the WS program. I cannot get rid of this popup. Could Windows Defender enable me to remove this WS malware?

    Hi Eddie

    Most likely there is an entry on your Windows Startup left over form Wondershare, which needs to be removed . . .

    Click the link below to download a small free utility that does not require installation

    When the file downloads, unzip it.

    Depending on your system, run Autoruns or Autoruns64 as Administrator

    In the search box in Autoruns, type Wondershare

    Are any entries found?

    If so, untick those . . .

    try checking my post, it might help. maybe you have left over data from wondershare.
