Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer not working since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 Pro

When trying to add a printer in Windows 10, the system won't recognise the above printer model.

In spite of following problem solving procedures, I'm still without the use of a printer.

Help and advice needed please.

Have you reinstalled the printer using the software that came with the printer?

Epson says driver is built-in to Windows but I do not know how to identify it in the list. Please ask Epson support what exactly driver should be used.

Device manager, right-click on printer, select Update driver, Browse my computer..., Let me pick... and select the correct driver.

Thank you. System ( Device Manager advises Printer working ok).

However. I'm still not able to print!

Unfortunately the OS (windows 10)  is not recognising the software disc.

    Hi,

How printer is shown in Device manager? Try to reinstall drivers.
