Hello,
If your PC is running Windows 10, you have a genuine edition of Windows.
Check out this link for more info: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10749/windows-10-find-product-key.
Your product key is saved to your device, so if you reset it, it should still work.
If you want to find your product key do the following:
- Run Command Prompt as an administrator (search CMD in the search box, right click on “Command Prompt,” and click “Run as administrator”).
- Type in/copy this command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKeyand hit enter.
Underneath what you just typed in, their should be a message saying “OA3xOriginalProductKey
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.” Where the X letters are will be your product key. Write it down on paper, but do not share it with anyone.
If you want to transfer the key to another computer, read this article: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.groovypost.com/howto/transfer-windows-10-license-new-pc/amp/
I hope this answers your question. If you need further assistance, don’t hesitate to ask.
