It was dumb of them to completely remove the download link, considering the only way in which it was vulnerable was if you run a malicious RDCMan file from someone else. That is enough to make pretty much *any* application or MSFT product vulnerable, but I don't see them yanking Windows OS from any store shelves...

Anyway, I uploaded the msi installer for RDCMan to Gofile just now. Here is the link:

https://gofile.io/?c=lpUfLG (the direct url is https://srv-file7.gofile.io/download/lpUfLG/rdcman.msi if you don't want to bother with their landing page and advertisements.

I did it anonymously so I don't know how long Gofile will keep the file up. If you're in an enterprise environment, you probably have a server or fileshare where software installers are kept. It would be wise to add this msi to that location for future use.

I'm wondering who would be dumb enough to download and open a file on a wide-open sharing site, from an unknown person on the internet.  Probably someone as dumb as the person who posted it.

I'm surprised you've never heard of the concept of sandboxing since you've been using computers for 30+ years.

After you look that concept up, you may want to change the 'about me' section of your profile from 'enjoys helping users with their computer problems' to 'enjoys flaming users who help askers where I can't'.
