    Hi Cerezer,

This is Wil, one of the independent advisor and an expert with Windows 10.

I understand your concern with spiking ping.

Ping actually can be caused by an intermittent issue on your internet connection. Is the first time that you experienced this issue?

I hope that you can reply back as quickly as possible so I can help you out further. Have a nice day.

    Thanks,

    Wilfred P.

Well Cerezer changing the battery will not really affect your internet connection. Kindly check if there are background apps that is also using your bandwidth. But actually based on the screenshot that you provide, your ping is actually normal. Sometimes it would really spike up for a couple of seconds.

    Hi cerezer,

how do you connect, via LAN or wirelessly? Is the problem present in both modes?

Try if this solution works for you too:

Hey, I have always run with wifi. And yes I do have Autodesk software's. I will have to uninstall it and see. Thanks

But to add to this, I always had autodesk software and just occasionally this fluctuation comes up.

Its been like from a week ago. Only thing that changed was that my laptop battery expired. So im running on direct power. Im pretty sure it doesnt have anything to do with this.
