The first thing to remove is any manufacturers bloatware that was installed on your PC, go to Settings - Apps, then form there, scroll down to find the manufacturers software (HP, Dell . . etc) and remove any of that unwanted bloatware . . .
Software a lot of the time is not the culprit when it comes to hard drive space . . .
Windows Explorer is useless when it comes to working out where your hard drive space is being used . . .
Click the link below to download a small free utility called Treesize. Using that tool, you will instantly see where this space is being used
