    Hi John,

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 3 year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

The symptoms indicate a drive problem. Does it get detected in BIOS and do you get any drive failure messages at startup?

Restart the Setup again and choose Repair your computer at the bottom left on the page which says Install now.

    Choose Command prompt.

    http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2880-command...

Enter the commands one by one:

    diskpart

    list disk

    select disk 0

    clean

create partition primary format fs=ntfs quick

    exit

Restart the installation and try again.

Also, see if there are any BIOS updates are available for the device.
