I want to stress that the Caller asked and received remote access to my device (computer) & I'm getting mixed information from the Microsoft community whether or not that is the correct protocol.
Technical Support Scam
When I go to UPDATE (errors), I get an option for "get help" on right side of the screen. After I click it, a box pops up on the left entitled TALK TO A PERSON. Under it gives me the option to Message a Windows Advisor, CALL ME BACK, SCHEDULE A CALL, Ask the Community, or call the Manufacturer of the Device. But Microsoft ALSO says that we shouldn't be getting calls...when I questioned about scams, MS also says they shouldn't be using your pc by remote (and they did that after I scheduled a call... I clicked on the pop up to share my screen & they walked me through some steps..
The Caller ID said MICRSOFT SPEARL + 425 -635-2970 Mobile Bellevue, WA. The problem couldn't be fixed, she gave me a Case Number & we scheduled another call back for March 1 between 3-5 for "phase 2". I ended the call when she asked me for my email again (seemed like same voice with a foreign accent.
So who should I believe??

2020-03-04T02:02:57+00:00 Is it standard procedure for the Microsoft Caller to ask to share account holder's screen & temporarily have access to their computer (mouse) by guiding you through steps? That seems rather risky...Can you also confirm that the ID of the caller is actually tech support (ID: MICRSOFT SPEARL Mobile 1 425-635-2970 Bellevue, WA)? I didn't ask for (solicit) a scheduled call back for today & they have called me today twice.
