Hello,

I am having trouble getting my Windows 10 PC to display to a Miracast enabled display. I have an Intel Wireless-AC 9650 WiFi card which states in the product brief that it supports Miracast, however when I check the drivers in cmd I get the following:

    Hi Greg,

Here is the link to the product brief for my Network Card: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/product-briefs/dual-band-wireless-ac-9560-brief.pdf. Page 2 says it has Miracast support.

I am apart of a domain which has an administration, so I will ask them about my GPO settings.

Ryan, are you part of a domain which has an Administrator? If so then I'd ask them about the GPO settings in the article I provided about this.

If not then we can assume it's not the issue, so what did the other guides tell you about your Wifi adapter being capable? You can try another USB nano adapter to see if it helps. Here's an example: https://www.amazon.com/OURLiNK-600Mbps-Wireless...

    Hi Greg,

Thanks for the reply. It seems my issue has to do with Group Policy's. See the article below:

    https://www.enhansoft.com/how-to-troubleshoot-miracast-when-using-windows-10/

Is there a workaround for this? Can I use an external Miracast transmitter with my PC? Or, will I need to contact my system administrator to get this working?

    Thanks,

    Ryan
