    Hello,

    The message looks legit, and it seems you're on Windows 10 V1809, support for which will end on may 12, 2020.

    I recommend you to upgrade to latest version atm i.e. V1909 via ISO file.

    Refer this step-by-step guide:

    Hi jstech139,

    each windows 10 version has a supported life of 18 months. you only need to update to a later version.

    which version are you currently running?

    settings -> system -> about

    look at the version under windows specifications (1909 is the latest)

    are there any problems reported under settings -> update & security -> windows updates.

    you can update to the latest version by clicking on the update link here

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-downlo...

    please let me know if it shows any errors

    1- isnt my machine- belongs to a friend. how does she upgrade to the newest version? she tried, but it stalled at 90% ( and sat like that for a whole day). she ended up shutting off the computer (using the tower power button, and it reverted.

    The message does *not* say that Windows 10 is at the end of its life. It says that the version of Windows 10 that *you* are running is nearing the end of its life. You should upgrade to the the newest version.
