How do a add a friend on Minecraft. How does my mom give permission for me to do this? What settings?

All of the replies on this forum seem to point to xbox settings. Do you have any guidance for similar issues being encountered on the iOS (iPhone) app?

As your computer seems to be on a family account, you must do the following procedures to authorize the addition of friends in your friends list.

And then the process to add a friend:

Friends can join friends realms locally (this works if the friend is in the same area):

-click settings

-local server multiplayer

-set setting : on

How to add a friend on Minecraft PE:

-On the home page

-click sign in [bottom left]

-sign in with Microsoft account

-click on play

-click menu

-select friend

-invite to game

-send invite
