How do I format a M2 SSD that is plugged into USB.
I have a M2 SSD in an enclosure plugged into USB. Disk Management will not initialize. I think that it needs to be formatted. How do I do this?

If everything is connected up correctly, and I have no doubt it is, I have read many of your posts and you do know what you are doing, I would suggest using a 3rd party utility to initialize that disk, Windows is very limited in its drive and partitioning capabilities . . .

Open Disk Management (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)
Expand that window so that drive is visible in the bottom pane
Please provide a screenshot of that Disk Management window . . .
