Flexnet Connect, Common Software Manager, uninstall; what's wrong with this picture?

Am I the only one that finds it troubling that I have to go to the website of the company making software I don’t want or trust, to download and install more software from a company I dont trust, to get rid of the software I don’t want? Everything Ive read says the same thing; I have to go to the Flexnet webpage and download an uninstaller. Is that really the only way to get rid of Flexnet Connect or Common Software Manager?

Windows doesn't have a way of uninstalling this stuff? Is there NOT another way?

I would appreciate some other advice on uninstalling this software.  Thank you.

When software is installed it logs the software with windows to enable uninstall using Apps and Features. If the software developer doesn't provide all the correct info to enable windows to uninstall it correctly then it's their software that is causing the problem.

The fact they provide an uninstall program verifies their sloppy coding.

So the company is not just sneaky, they're incompetent too.  Thanks neilpzz, I feel much better now.  lol
