In my case, it was only the replacement of the screen that helped
Lenovo Yoga 720 15IKB - Touchscreen Nonfunctional - Windows Updates
Greetings, y'all!
On 3/14/2020, I had two updates that were installed on my Lenovo Yoga 720 15IKB laptop:
- Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909 (hereafter "U1")
- 2020-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4551762) (hereafter "U2")
After installation of updates U1 and U2 and subsequent restart, touchscreen functionality was completely disabled.
I attempted the following methods of repair:
Update rollback:
- Rolled back update U1: Unsuccessful
- Rolled back update U2: Unsuccessful
Device Manager:
- Disabled and re-enabled device, "Human Interface Devices/HID-compliant touch screen": Unsuccessful
- Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, "Human Interface Devices/HID-compliant touch screen": Unsuccessful
Boot:
- Started in Safe Mode: Unsuccessful
If anyone could provide additional suggestions/assistance, that would be greatly appreciated!

2020-03-20T03:25:44+00:00 Have you tried downloading the touchscreen drivers directly from Lenovo? It seems a Wacom touchscreen is being used:
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/ph/en/products/lap...
You can uninstall and delete all current drivers for the touchpad then install the above.
Please keep me posted.

2020-03-20T02:42:51+00:00 Hello!
I'm your Independent Advisor for today. Let's figure this out and come up with a solution.
You can perform a system restore to revert the PC to a working state. The said step will undo whatever changes that were made to it, like installing apps or Windows Updates:
- On the Windows sign in screen, press and hold down the Shift key, then click Restart. Don't let go of the Shift key until you see "Choose an option".
- Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > System Restore
- Click Next.
- Select a restore point dated prior to the problem, then hit Next. If you don't see your preferred restore point, click "Show more restore points" and choose from there.
- Click Finish.
System restore will take a while to complete. Please make sure not to interrupt this process. Once completed, please try to use the PC and check if the issue is resolved.
Hope this helps. Please reply whatever the results.
Hi, Eiji!
Thanks for taking the time to provide assistance!
I performed a system restore for the day before the updates (and losing touchscreen functionality).
The system restore was successfully performed but did not restore touchscreen functionality.
Any additional suggestions would be appreciated.

The touchscreen is still nonfunctional.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the Wacom Pen driver that you suggested with restarts after both uninstall and reinstall.
